On July 19th, 2025, Fairview Golf Club Inc. proudly celebrated its 60th Anniversary with a special event hosted at the Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth, FL. This milestone gathering brought together members, supporters, and community leaders for a morning of golf, fellowship, and reflection on six decades of tradition.

The day kicked off with breakfast, then a four-person scramble golf tournament under the sun. Despite the heat, spirits were high as players competed in a friendly but competitive round. In the end, the team of Brooklyn Butler, Derell Williams, George Gay, and Romeo Esquivel took first place with a score of 61. Second place went to George Andino, Deross Edward, Fletcher Mayes, and Daniel Cammarano, who finished just one stroke behind with a 62. Rounding out the top three were Charles Anderson, Sammie Brown, Harold Moore, and James W. Williams with a score of 63.

Additional honors included Closest to the Pin awards for Victor Edwards, Morgan Williams, and James Williams, while Longest Drive was claimed by Romeo Esquivel and Morgan Williams.

Following the tournament, guests gathered for a luncheon and awards ceremony that featured remarks from two respected voices in the community—Mr. Dan Calloway and David Cunningham. Their words honored Fairview’s rich history and looked ahead to the continued role the club plays in supporting local youth, athletes, and leaders.

This year’s event exceeded expectations, raising more than $13,000 in donations—surpassing the initial goal of $10,000. These funds will directly support Fairview’s 2026 scholarship recipients and other future community-focused efforts.
